Jaltest Telematics defines a new concept in the industry that improves any current solution by exclusively introducing the possibility of real-time remote diagnostics. Entirely focused on fleet optimisation and productivity, the ODF (Optimal Driving Fleet) portal eases the users’ work by providing the necessary tools for decision-making and cost reduction.
Through the tachograph solution, Jaltest Telematics can manage the tachograph file download of both the vehicle and the driver remotely, without the need to have the vehicle at the base or use a manual download device. This advantage frees our customers from any incidents related to the vehicle location to carry out the download on planned dates.
According to Order FOM/11190/2005, which regulates the implementation of the digital tachograph, it is stipulated that the data download from drivers’ cards must be carried out at least every 28 days, and the data download from each unit inside the vehicle must be carried out, at least, every 90 days, to ensure that there is no overwriting.
By using the download planning menu, each customer will be able to configure the frequency with which the downloads are carried out, to obtain the information on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis.
Besides, files from a specific period can be downloaded to respond to any type of request made by the authorities or a sudden inspection. By default, the tachograph files are stored in the ODF portal for two years from the download date, during which time the customer can download the file from any device.
Jaltest Telematics ODF portal also allows the creation of alarms that notify when a download has not been carried out on time and in the proper way, allowing the fleet manager to be informed of any incident with enough time to act. Additionally, alarms can be set over excessive driving, tachograph checks, driver licence expiry, CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and dangerous goods.
Regarding driver activity, provided the tachograph is compatible by version and model, a real-time activity bar is displayed via the ODF portal. Moreover, essential data such as daily driving time, remaining driving time for the day, next rest, daily rest, time available for the current week, time available for the next week and the number of extended daily driving will be available.
Thanks to the constant improvement of our product, based on the experience and feedback of our customers, a specific report has been developed detailing the distance and time, by country and of each driver, which will make possible to calculate the amount corresponding to subsistence allowances.
